Aberystwyth International Ceramics Festival 2017

Preparations for the biennial International Ceramics Festival organised by North Wales and South Wales Potters are underway. The Festival opens on the evening of Friday June 30th and runs until Sunday July 2nd.

Anybody with an interest in ceramics should try and get to see this extravaganza of art, clay, fire and fun. http://www.internationalceramicsfestival.org/

Don’t worry if you haven’t got a ticket for the event or can only get there for part of a day there is plenty to see around the festival site at Aberystwyth Arts Centre.

Watch the artists at work, marvel at the exciting outdoor kilns and see the exhibitions of this year’s demonstrators as well as the many Welsh potters exhibiting with North and South Wales potters.

All Washed Up pots can be seen on the Carmarthen School of Art’s stand along with those of the many talented graduates that the college has produced.

Here are just a few of the 2017 graduates –  Julie Hutton, Jacob Chan, Melanie Vickers and Hannah Louise
